In Memoriam Chris Finer Zook:

Well, some very sad news, Chris Finer Zook passed away Sat. night in her sleep. As you know, she has been my best friend since we were kids together. I can't tell you how many wonderful memories we created and how I will cherish them all. She had lots of people that loved her dearly. Gail Sevenliss and Peach Irvine were especially good friends over the years.

Her boys are taking her Cremains to be placed with her Parents and Grandparents in NY.

I am trying to spread the sad news to as many mutual LI friends as I can.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Chris Finer.

She was a friend of mine at Gatelot Elementary School. My sympathy for her family and friends.

To my other Friends,

I was sadden to hear the news about Chris the other day. As I was reading the email, I felt a tear beginning to form. I called out to my wife Jill, so she could be close by and know what happened to " A very Good Friend of Ours" Jill has meet Pat and Chris, 2 wonderful young Ladies that I was able to say, that I loved. I still do and that's OK with my wife Jill.

Jill meet her for the first time in Cocoa Beach, a few years ago during a "Suffolk Saints Reunion" We have stayed in contact with each other via emails. Pat sent me the news from Eddie and Mary. I wrote a short note to Bob Zook, using Chris's email address. I hope he opens it someday and knows that we are concerned and sadden for Him Too. I will always remember seeing Chris driving her Dads 57-58 Pontiac convert-able in town. She could turn many eyes on her as passed us along the way.

I have always ended our emails by writing "Love ya"

Always hold close those friendships, years and miles are but short distances for the heart to travel.

Can someone get this news to Charlie and Linda, Please.

I was very saddened to hear about Chris - I have many fond memories of Chris - and of you Pat, also. They were the "good old days" - If only we really knew it then. Annette Colmer Doyle

Chris is always one of those friends that I remember fondly when thinking of Sachem High School. While attending 2010 reunion on LI, I was hoping that you would be there. As teenagers, we had some great times together. GOD bless you, Chris, and enjoy your new life. xxoo

How to view the Sachem High School Alumni Gazette:

When you click on the URL below this line, your Browser will display one large page of information, photos, and videos.

In actuality our Blog is forty time larger than the page that is first displayed.

There are two ways to navigate to the pages that are not displayed.

METHOD #1:
At the very bottom of the first page that is displayed, you will see a phrase that says "Older Posts." Left click the word "Older Posts," and a new page with more Photos and videos will appear. You can do this Forty times!

METHOD #2:
On the very top of the Blog, in the right hand column, you will see a group of dates under the category called "Blog Archive." Left click the dates listed under "Blog Archive," individually. Every date contains a fresh page of information, which includes text, photos, and videos. To return to the Archive section go to the bottom ov the page that you are looking at and click "Home."

When you see a photo that has a small arrow on it; click the arrow to start the video!

The Blog is huge and will take a few nights to view all of the information.

In addition, even more pages are available by clicking links that are on the pages that you are viewing! Oh Well! This get's complicated!

Hope I didn't confuse you!

Also! The email addresses of our entire membership, can be found on the header of this email. You will have to mess with this email to get it to display all of the recipients, at once. Just ask your son or daughter, how to expose the "full header."
